[Carpet] Erorr on IMB ppc linux

Thanks Erik,

Unfortunately, I got the same error even after updating Carpet. I don't know
it's useful to you but its OS is SLES 9 and the executable "time" seems to
be a usual GNU one packaged in util-linux rpm.
