you can try to increase the warn level, e.g. to 3, or to 9 if that  
doesn't help.  This will give you much more output.  You can also try  
to set Carpet::verbose or Carpet::veryverbose, which would tell you  
just when Cactus makes the "wrong decision" about recovery.
