[Carpet] extension of 0D_output ?

Hi,

When I tries to get the output of scalar variables by setting
"ioascii::out0d_vars", the data file takes the names "variable..asc" instead
of "variable.asc". Could you tell me the reason? The new filename scheme was
taken, i.e. io::new_filename_scheme="yes".
