[Carpet] carpet error message while recovering

Ah, now I remember you telling me, Bela.

So, what is the present status? (I don't see news on the bugzilla page).

Is there a temporary workaround? Is it possible to remove the patches 
that create the problem and still have functionality? (CarpetRegrid2, 
moving grids) Which patches? Or how do people do without checkpointing?

Please, let me know asap.
