[Carpet] Parameters in HDF5 files?

I noticed that all HDF5 files (not just checkpoint files) have a data  
set "All Parameters" in the group "Parameters and Global  
Attributes".  Is that intended or necessary?  If so, should we not  
add the data set "Grid Structure" as well?
