[Carpet] Updated darcs on CarpetCode server to 1.0.8

I have updated the darcs executable on the server cvs.carpetcode.org  
to version 1.0.8.  Please report any problems you encounter.

I have also removed the links to our own darcs binaries from the  
Carpet web pages.  There is a pointer to the darcs web site which  
contains a list of darcs binaries for various architectures.
