This months' highlight:

Thomas Radke has made improvements to the HDF5 data format of Carpet.  
There are now many fewer attributes written to the output files, 
reducing the file sizes significantly.  The main improvement is that it 
also reduces the amount of memory required to write HDF5 files, which 
previously lead to out-of-memory situations in production runs.  These 
changes are present in both the development and the stable version of 
Carpet.
